Nedap Agri develops, produces and markets automation for the animal husbandry worldwide. End of May 2008 Nedap Agri, North America has started up first half of a 6000 sow unit in Carthage, Illinois, USA. 
During last May, a new facility for 250 pregnant sows was taken in operation in Lescogan, Brittany, France. Since then the 400-sow herd will spent their gestation in straw-based group housing. 
Nedap Velos will exhibit at the World Pork Expo in Des Moines, USA from 5 to 7 June.
