Nedap Agri develops, produces and markets automation for the animal husbandry worldwide. Producers of meat and milk experience an increasing demand for their products by a growing world population and an increasing wealth. At the same time the pressure on recourses such as feed and labour is increasing. Nedap Agri enables meat- and milk producers to use these limited resources in an effective way by automating vital processes such as feeding, milking and oestrus detection. By allowing individual animal management on large scale farms, higher production results per animal are achieved.

On the 18th June, Nedap signed two contracts in South Korea relating to automation in animal husbandry. This occurred in the presence of His Royal Highness the Prince of Orange and the Minister of Infrastructure and the Environment, Ms. M.H. Schultz van Haegen. Firstly, a contract was signed with the Korean ‘Agriculture IT Convergence Support Center’ (AITCSC); the project group within South Korea’s national government programme that encourages automated solutions for the livestock sector.
